Hi Bears.  

Many of you have emailed me that the edpuzzle isn't working so lets forget about it.  No worries!!  Go to Newsela and find an article that interests you. Attach a screenshot when you finish. 

These assignments are not intended to stress you out.  Try your best,  keep busy, have fun.  If you find something cool out there send me the link.  

If you haven't already I think you should keep a journal. Write in it everyday.  When this is all over you will have a book about this time in you life.  This virus and stay at home time will be something that will be in the history books.  You can write your own book!!

I hope you are all staying busy and healthy at home.  Many of you did a great job with the assignments last week.  Today I have pushed out three links in google classroom.  They are due by Friday. Be creative and have fun.  Make sure you checkout the announcements and the daily challenge.  I enjoy watching the videos that you post with the daily challenges!! There are announcements for you to watch in Google Classroom and a daily challenge!

Today I put a video in Google classroom for you to watch.  It is long. Watch it over two days.  Find a quiet place to watch it. It take us back 4.6 billion years to the beginning of Earth.  This will show you what Scientists think the Earth's history is.  This is NOT what everyone believes. This is just a theory. Discuss with your family about how you believe the Earth was made.

Here is an update with how things will work while we are away from school.  Please share this with your parents so the know what is going on with Science!

1. I will post on the Blog and Google Classroom on Mondays with things for you to do throughout the week.  On Fridays I want you to submit a google doc attached to the Google Classroom assignment with screenshots or other evidence that you completed the weekly assignments. Do not email or share them with me.  I want them submitted with the assignment in google classroom.

2. There will not be make-up school in June or July. 

3. Our current work through TCI is on pause. We will finish it if and when we come back to school. 

4.  There will be no work assigned during Spring Break.

5. Morning announcements will still be posted everyday.

6. There will be a first blog tomorrow  3-19-20.  Then it will be Mondays after that. 

With this being said, everything is changing very quickly and if I have changes for you I will send them out through the BLOG.

Good Morning Bears.  

Today we are researching the different periods in Geologic  time.  Please choose two of these periods to research.  I will post the assignment in Google classroom for those of you who are home.  If you are at school you will do the assignment in class.

Today in class we read the readings 1,2,3,4 that go with lesson 9, "Reconstructing Earth's History.  Then  we completed pages 136-139 in the workbook.  

Starting today all work will be pushed out through this BLOG and Google classroom.
