Finally Friday!!  Today we will review the main ideas from yesterday's readings and then do investigation 2.  You need your packet and a pencil.  Put your chromebooks away.  :)

Good morning.  Today you will finish reading the sections about how rocks form,  These are section 3,4 and 5 in the rock cycle lesson.  Complete the handbook pages that go with the sections.  pages 6,7 and 8.  Remember.... reading and understanding the text is more important than just filling in the notebook questions. I have headphones for you to use if you want the text read to you.  After you finish practice the vocabulary words with the flip cards in the blue menu.

Today we will do the lesson game in TCI that went with the Platetectonic lesson. Then we will finish Investigation 1 in the Rock Cycle. After that we will start the readings.  You can read them on TCI or have TCI read it to you if you have headphones, or you can read them in the textbook.  Your answers to each section will go in the packet.  You need your packet, chromebook. pencil and headphones.

If you haven't turned in the packet for lesson one do it now.  We are moving on to lesson two today, It is called The Rock Cycle.  Today you will need a pencil and I will hand out a new packet.We will follow the slideshow through an investigation of rocks.

Today is a catch up and turn in day. You need to do the last three readings for the investigation. They are sections 5,  6 and 7.  Then do the questions in your packet that go with the readings.  Then check your packet and make sure it is complete.  Finish any work you missed.  Make sure to complete the last page, "Making Sense of the Phenomena" now that you have completed the lesson and have new knowledge. Then you will turn it in the back white box. :)

Good Morning!  Today we will continue to model the plate boundries. We will also do some reading to help make sense of it all. We will read sections 4 and 5 in TCI and then do the note book pages that go with it.  Pages 8 and 9.  Clear your desk off now so we can start the moving plates model!

Today we will finish investigation 2 in Unit 6.  First we will watch a video about Alfred Wegener. Then we will draw a model of the plate boundries and then we will make a model of the boundries.  You will need colored pencils, a pencil and your packet.
